Emmerich Knoll Riesling Loibner Federspiel

32.99

Emmerich Knoll Riesling Loibner Federspiel is a white wine aged on lees made in Wachau (Lower Austria) with the Riesling variety by Emmerich Knoll.

Emmerich Knoll is a family winery that has worked generation after generation with the utmost respect for the land. Without a doubt, this winery is one of the main reasons that Wachau is now seen as a high-quality wine region. Their focus on quality soils, native varieties and natural methods results in pure, mineral and structured wines.

Emmerich Knoll Riesling Loibner Federspiel starts life at the foot of the mountains on sandy loess and alluvial soils. The terrain is steep which means it is almost impossible to work with machines, so most of the work is carried out manually. The team use environmentally friendly agriculture, prioritising the natural balance of the terroir, and the harvest is entirely manual.

In the winery, the Emmerich Knoll Riesling Loibner Federspiel grapes are gently pressed to preserve all the qualities of the fruit. Fermentation then begins spontaneously with native yeasts in wooden barrels and then in stainless steel tanks on its lees.

With a baroque design of the holy city, Emmerich Knoll Riesling Loibner Federspiel is the wine with the most famous label in Austria. A spicy, precise and elegant Riesling that has been made since 1950. This wine is easy to drink and difficult to forget.
