Domaine Rolet Arbois Savagnin Ouille Blanc
€30.99
The Savagnin grape (also called Nature) is native to the iconic Jura region. Domaine Rolet is a famous producer based in Arbois. Established in 1942, the domaine has risen in prominence in the region and has acquired prime old vine vineyards in the appellations of Arbois and Côtes du Jura. This white wine is vinified partly in oak barrels (topped up – so not oxidised) and partly in vats. It has a powerful aromatic bouquet with notes of vanilla and spice due to the wood. This encompasses a typical vivacious minerality. If you haven’t yet tried a wine from Jura, this is a great introduction.
