Rather woody (not oaky) on the nose. Then unexpectedly rich and fruity on the palate.Generous and rounded and with good freshness. Stands out for greater density than most.
Country: France
Vintage: 2014
Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot
Style: Haut Médoc - Cru Bourgeois
Alcohol Volume: 13.5%
Tasting Notes: Very intense colour, deep, attractive dark ruby with crimson reflections. The nose shows slightly smoky notes of cigar box, Havana and fresh wood. Fleshy and very complex on the palate with great aromatic intensity. The tannins are still tight and of high quality. A profile showing great aptitude for ageing, when the wine will gain in complexity and smoothness. To be decanted 2 hours before tasting
Food Pairing: Red Meat
